LA students say food is better in Malibu

date Friday, September 29, 1972

location LA campus

The student senate on the LA campus voiced concerns that its food service was inferior to the one offered at Malibu. Professional Food Service Management administered the university's food service at both campuses. Students on the LA campus (where there were 108 residential students) complained that there was greater variety on the menu at Malibu, where there were 604.1

The manager of food service on the LA campus explained that offering a diverse menu was made difficult by the lack of customers early in the term: "We fed two people the first day, and six people the second."1
