Professional Food Service Management took over operation of the cafeteria on the LA campus after being named the winner of a new food services contract.¹ The cafeteria was previously operated by Szabo Food Service Company, which was the subject of many student complaints about food quality as well as health and safety.² Pepperdine's student-led Food Services Committee took bids from a number of companies, including both Szabo and Professional, and recommended Professional.³
