Howard A. White moves in near Trancas

At the end of 1971, executive vice president Howard A. White became one of the first Pepperdiners to move to Malibu, in advance of the opening of the Malibu campus in September 1972. The Whites' home was on Paseo Canyon Drive, near Trancas.1
White would go on to be Pepperdine's fifth president, serving from 1978-1985.
